"And he said to them, 'The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest." - Luke 10:2
We love young ministers and desire to assist them in becoming everything which God has called them to be. At Luke 4:18 Fellowship, we offer internships which last from a semester to a year in length. This program offers students the chance to begin learning practical ministry skills while being mentored by well-experienced staff of pastors and ministers.
The current areas of church ministry we offer for internships are Pastoral Ministry, Youth Ministry, Music Ministry, and Children's Ministry. Below are descriptions of each area.
Work alongside Pastor Fred Wolfe and Senior Associate Pastor Joe Savage learning how to shepherd a body of believers, lead a church staff, and perform administrative tasks essential to keeping a church together.
Assist our lead Youth Minister David Bullock in preparing weekly youth meetings, events, teaching a small group, and performing various administrative tasks for leading a youth group.
Learn from our Music Minister Ed Keyes, by assisting in leading worship during our Sunday Morning services and Wednesday evening gatherings. Play in the orchestra or sing in the choir, and gain valuable experience for worship leadership.
As our Children's Ministry grows, workers are needed to assist our newest minister, Cary Cubitt. Leading Sunday school lessons, planning events, or chaperoning kids, work with Cary to minister and invest in young lives for the glory of God gaining experience in a fast growing Children's Program!
