LET THE LITTLE ONES COME TO ME...

At Luke 4:18 Fellowship, we believe one of the most important areas of ministry is focusing on children. We have established our early childhood ministry with a foundation of love. This ministry’s focus is to provide a caring, safe, and fun, environment for children to receive a foundational knowledge of God and who He is.
Our early childhood ministry staff is specially trained in caring for and teaching children of all ages. Children will be taught from a carefully designed, gospel-centered curriculum every week.

our mission

The mission of our early childhood ministry is:

1) To nurture and train our children to grow in God’s Word in order for them to understand His love and purpose for their lives and
2) To support parents as they raise their children in the fear and admonition of the Lord.

We pray that the children come to know the Lord at an early age and learn to walk and talk with him daily.

the early childhood ministry center

The early childhood ministry center is located inside the main building and to the south of our worship center. The area is brightly colored, so you can’t miss it!

Each of our rooms are particularly designed and created for each age group to maximize learning opportunities and personalized growth and development in Christ.

THIS MONTH’S BIBLICAL THEME IS: GOD IS UNCHANGING.
I really dislike change. But what I love is options. Hebrews 13:8 says: Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. What we will see this month is the unchanging, unflinching nature of God. A God who is consistent in His love and perfect in His justice and reasonable in all of His ways.
We will see how He calls a nation to Himself and, in His love, corrects, restores and rescues her. The confidence we have as Christians doesn’t come from our perfect behavior but rather from the consistent, unchanging love of God for us in Christ.
Because God is consistent in His mercy and judgment, we never have to fear rejection or experience final retribution. His consistency in a world that is so radically inconsistent brings courage to our timid minds and strength to our anxious hearts. What a gift to have a solid rock on which to stand.

                                                             Wednesdays @ 6:00 PM

When it comes to telling Bible stories, the copycat is where it’s at! During “Copy That, Copycat,” preschool kids will be introduced to Otis the cat. Otis is a hand puppet that copies what the children do. As the children act out the Bible story, so does Otis! As the stories unfold, Otis and the preschoolers will learn that God helps them be brave and make good choices.
